All of this questioning started when I was on the way home from a small trip I had to take. My mom read an article to me saying facebook has copyrighted the words book, like, and some others. If this is true what a joke of a world we live in. I mean why would anyone want to copyright words we use every day. I can’t call for example a site teach book as I would get sued by facebook. This is based off a real case that happened. A teacher got sued by facebook as she had a site called teach book. And the word like? Come on I can’t for example probably say “Hey can you like this for me please,” on facebook itself. Also I can’t now that I remember say the letters “Fb” in anything as facebook copyrighted that set of letters. Why would someone want to copyright book, like, fb, and other words and letters? What will facebook do, copyright the word face next? I mean come on.

I found several articles dealing with this subject matter. For example, one written March 26 of 2012 that facebook already put this in their privacy clause. Here is the

This has got to stop as I said above. I’m very surprised this has not caused an outcry. Also according to the

They ask if this is indeed legal. I say to this the following. No! No! No!

I am trying to find the purchased tab in itunes so I can check to see that I have downloaded all of my apps and stuff to my iTunes library. I know how to do this in ios. just click purchased and there ya go. You can sourt by on device and not on device. I used to know how to do this in iTunes for osx but I cannot see the purchases button in iTunes anymore. Here is a clip. Any help in the comments or twitter or email would be helpful.

I felt frustrated when I was helping a friend redeem a gift card. Googling helped, how ever I had to go to the apple manual and even then it did not help. Threw trial and error we found a way to do this.

• Tap the iTunes app on your home screen. I will not tell wherein it is as you might have your home screen set up differently then mine.
• Next tap more and then tap music. If you cannot see the music tab. If you can, skip this step.
• Next, tap new releases.
  
• Next tap the redeem button found in the screen shot. If you do not tap the new releases tab at the top of the screen you will get the following screenshot without the redeem button. This is an example of the genre screen.

  

• After you tap redeem you can follow the prompts to redeem the gift card you were given for christmas or what not.

I’ve been in contact with them before with the same results. They are unable to update because facebook changes so rapidly. Well, thats fine but the consumer in my opinion comes first. They should be on the look out and i don’t care if it is 1 dev or 1 thousand devs. They should try and stay one step ahead like facelyhd and other apps do. If they do not they will loose there customers like myself. here are the contents of the email.

I want your thoughts in the comments section and i want you yourselves to contact the focus team. Also i want you all who use focus to reference this post in a review and make it a low rating with exactly of what you think of the app and there inability to even consider a suggestion, a simple suggestion no less that could be implemented in maybe a few hours of coding. I have suggested the same feature be added in a different email with the same results and this worries me to no end. Let’s get their attention!

About 2 weeks ago We took on a new DJ for our station. I proceeded to put her podcast up on to iTunes like I do with the others’ archives. I get this letter and then I attempt to resubmit the link, how ever it says it’s been already submitted. Here is the link to the rejection letter. As you might be able to see they did not give a specific reason for rejection. I’m looking for other sources to submit our archives’ podcasts. Any suggestions out there in blog land? I’m starting to get fed up with iTunes and am thinking of taking those podcasts down or just not updating them or not adding anymore to iTunes.

Please. Give me your thoughts and suggestions. They will be most appreciated. I want to find a good podcast directory that will not reject these yet will give us a lot of exposure.
